bubur sumsum~

an ordinary day with ordinary class and lectures drowning in ordinary notes and text book, falling in deep slumber in ordinary lecture theaters and mingling with ordinary friends with the infamous special talent(s) that make me feel like a superhuman when with them. suddenly **sigh**

surgery, here.... i'm back ~~
tadaima surgery~ and the surgery turned to me with the devilish grin and smirked more evilly... okairi wawahime-san.. ~~nightmare~~

actually this was my 1st day with surgery after the LONGGGGGGG break that we had since the early april this year. so our 'renew' relationship kinda awkward and i felt like dying inside pfffttttt. lucky me, today dr aung took our group and our patient today was the very cooperative yet sporting uncle. he's 86 years old and he looked exhausted. despite of all that he didn't mind to let us learnt about the examination of hernia and all. thank you uncle. appreciate sangat~!!

and thank you dr aung for made my heart skip a beat after announcing that we need to draw 3 systems everyweek. and each system has more than 1 drawings. so much appreciated and wait i have to say goodbye to my lovely weekend. annyeonghigeseyo~

sigh sigh sigh

at evening, went to bazaar ramadhan for some juadah buka puasa. seriously, jangan beli kuih kat bazaar ramadhan. tak sedap LANGSUNG. selipar flipper wafi lagi sedap dari kih kamu2 tuh. but still i gave the 2nd to one of the makcik yang jual bubur sumsum. kot2 ada peluang untuk i katakan kuih di melaka ni sedap. and yes, this makcik punya bubur sumsum (javanese language) or tebak (in malay people language) agak awesome. bubur sumsum used to be one of the baby food for some unfortunate family especially those who can't afford to buy baby formula or baby's food. my mum said,

"budak2 sekarang je manja nak makan nestum, orang dulu makan tepung beras je (the ingredient of bubur sumsum) sihat wal'afiat je"

bubur sumsum is one of my fav desert after bubur merah bubur putih (javanese desert) so i wanna share the recipe here
120 g tepung beras
500 ml santan
1/2 senduk garam
1/2 cawan gula
secawan air
daun pandan.

1. masuk tepung, santan, and garam dalam periuk. then kacau rata2. api kena perlahan je. biar tak nak bagi berketul2 masuk santan dalam tepung and garam sedikit demi sedikit. kalau berketul2 tu nanti tak sedap dan tak cantik. kacau lah sampai nampak makanan tuh rupa bubur bukan rupa macam ketul2 jerawat hoccay~

2. then buat kuah gulanya pula. masukkan gula, biarkan hangus sikit. then baru campur dengan air. kacau sampai rata. masukkan daun pandan biar kasi bau2 wangi. jangan letak daun serai sudah lerr. kang pelik pula bubur warisan nenek moyang nih.

3. then nak makan pun ada cara nya. kalau orang yang pengemas dan berdisiplin, potong2 dulu bubur sumsumnya than baru tuang gula on top. but untuk orang yang berukhwah, ceduk je pakai senduk then sirakan dengan gula on top. paling beradat sekali, makan kena baca bismillah. (orang jawa nih memang keturunan paling beradab) ^^~

p/s :: kalau nak makan bubur merah bubur putih, kena letak bubur merah dulu then letak bubur putih kat tengah mangkuk dengan kuantiti yang sedikit compare to bubur merah. tanda kesejahteraan gitu bak kata mama. hurmmm.. i do believe in mama~

eh, i melayu.. tp i panggil bubur sumsum.. tak penah dgr tebak tu ape.. daebak taula.. haha..

ntahnye org melaka nih.. tebak bagai.. tp bubur sumsum tuh mmg sdap.. maybe bahasa jawa ngn melayu dah overlap. sama cam bhs portugal overlap ngn bhs mlayu = almari~
